There are three types
of industrial waste final
disposal sites. They are:
the stable-type,
administration-type, and
the cut-off type.
MIDAC's facility is an administration-type
disposal site, mainly supporting
landfill of the following
types of waste: |

Sludge, Waste Plastic, Waste
Rubber, Waste Metal, Waste
Glass / Ceramic /Concrete,
Slag, Rubble, Waste Dust

Burial
of asbestos is also possible |

| MIDAC Kurematsu final disposal site is one of
the few facilities able to deal with asbestos. |

| <According to waste disposal
law, the burial of asbestos depends on the following:
> |
(1) Asbestos must be
double packed in waterproof material or solidified
so as not to scatter in the air.
(2) The burial must be undertaken in a specific
part of the waste disposal site in such a way that
the asbestos is not dispersed. |
